#165 in AB Muller

Hello, Following our vid about Renewing our mind, yesterday Robin and I did a little bible study on “All scripture is God breathed…” We looked at what it says about God and who He is, and what it says about us. And the same for the “”Fruit of the spirit” verses.

Today we took a look at “the two men” – the flesh and the spirit, or the sinful nature vs living in Jesus, based on Galatians 2:19-20, Ephesians 4:20-24 and this bit of Romans.

I don’t store the verse number references in my brain, thankfully Google has been invented for that. We found it amusing to think what images Google would provide for “throw off the old man”!

Then we asked ourselves, (from the Romans ref) , What does the spirit desire? And found some answers in Genesis and good old Jeremiah 29:11. Then we prayed to believe it.

I do pray and prepare myself before we do this studying, and the Lord gives me the verses and subject ideas.

Later we met Victoria at AB Muller for a coffee n cake, and had a good chat, haven’t seen her properly in months. We prayed. And Robin and I discovered a new vintage/kringloop winkel .

Lots of interesting and genuinely vintage stuff, we were tempted by some gaudy orange coffee cups and vintage character phones, but we resisted!

Also today, the Lord gave me two pictures. One in my personal bible study and one when I just glimpsed a verse someone had put on facebook. They were both very helpful in changing my mindset about something or other. On a day like this I feel so blessed and like I am fulfilling my calling!

Jonehallmark is a maker I follow on instagram. This is a picture from inside her house, do you recognize anything!

In the evening I got the bus all the way up to Buitenveldert, which is where we used to live in Amsterdam. We were having Lifegroup there this evening, only 3 of us were present, so we had it on the balcony of our host’s flat! Gezellig hé?

I was leading, I will always volunteer to, if someone else suddenly can’t. And I love it when there’s a smaller group, it gives us a chance to get to know each other better.

Hello, thanks for reading, but I probably won't look at the comments,
