Carla took us to drop some bags at the 2nd hand shop, then came in for a “British” beans on toast. With grated, wild garlic cheese from the farm. Then we had a coffee and daydreamed about my future new house. It was a lot of fun!

In Uithoorn it seems the zoning is such that it’s illegal to buy a house to rent out to multiple occupants – that would count as a business in a dwelling-only area. Also in Amstelveen you have to pay tax to have a pet living with you! That explains a lot.
