#207 Sunday

Emily made us a lovely dinner last night. πŸ›πŸ²

In the night I had a very detailed dream, β˜πŸ’€ that we had moved, to a remote alpine village. And I had to completely start again. Decisions about schools, church, what’s what in the shops, who’s nice, etc. And we hadn’t even chosen bedrooms yet, when crowds of about 30 people queued up outside to use our toilet! 😰 I ran through the crowd with a barking dog to disperse them! πŸ’₯

Thankfully my waking life isn’t that crazy although it feels a bit like it.

πŸ›© Robin and I sat down to check all the plane ticket 🎫 stuff online yesterday and couldn’t remember what tickets we’d bought, with which airline, and our password to find out! πŸ’« Our minds were quite blank. But we got there in the end. πŸ’ 🍾 . After that I fully had a rest, watched a silly Danish tv show and crocheted. Robin entered the room and immediately recognized that it was Danish. πŸ‡©πŸ‡° cos it has the same inflection as the Newcastle accent!

You’ve probably seen the Amsterdam burger’n’chips automatic dispenser, Febo. Well I’ve discovered a farm version, Boerdereij Automat in Waverveen. We have to go.

This morning Robin, Frank and I cycled to church. It’s lovely and sunny with a nice fresh breeze. We saw cows, a donkey, lots of birds, wildflowers, and a procession of vintage cars driving towards the river. What fun! We are spoiled, really.

JP spoke on being the salt of the earth. And we sang an excellent song about God being our Guardian, I must look it up.

So now I am sewing in ends on a peaceful afternoon.

Hello, thanks for reading, but I probably won't look at the comments,
