This morning Frank and I went to de Bascule for an appointment with two Drs about improving his diagnosis, so he can get some help and make a decision about schools.
Then Robin, mum and I went to Amstelveen to have a lovely cup of fresh mint tea and cakes in Hyacinth’s. Then she drove us to Ouderkerk and we popped to the Portuguese Jewish cemetery, but it was raining even harder than last time we were there! So adjourned to an Italian restaurant for a coffee and shared a bruschetta. Mum regaled us with some stories. It was hysterical! There was the odd tear, of each kind.
Then Hyacinth drove us home, so I asked her to drive down the Amstel, so mum could experience our frequent, fabulous cycling route. Even in the today’s grey weather it’s beautiful. And redolent of holidays.
Then I got an email saying there are 3 houses available in our area and budget so Hurrah!
In the evening we walked around and looked at the outsides of them.
