#297 Sunday, skills and gifts.

Lily, Frank and I cycled to church. It was the last in series of God’s Questions to man , “what is that in your hand?” Which the LORD asked Moses when he didn’t think he had anything to offer. It was about the skills/gifts/experiences we already have, if offered to the LORD, He will use them in a beautiful way.

It was very good. And it prompted me to offer my childminding services to the fundraising “skills auction” next month.

Coming out of church we met Marcia going in, and she invited us to lunch. So we popped to Stadshart for an hour, and Lily bought a lovely yellow dress. Then Frank went home, and we two cycled to Marcia’s. Her son was also there, and we had Brazilian pork, rice, beans and Marcia’s Brazilian take on the awful Dutch green veg, Boerenkool. Which is a massive improvement. ! And then we sat outside for a few hours joking about films and all the UK TV series they used to enjoy. And having some political discussions!
