#353 Hema of all places

Hi, my 1st day of work as postperson will be Tuesday 8th Jan.

Oh yes, my first Schengen experience – when we travelled to and from Hamburg, I didn’t have to show my passport. No big deal. But I didn’t have to join a massive herd of people, queuing to show their passport. Now that’s civilized!

This morning I met my lovely friend “I” for breakfast in Hema. We haven’t seen each other for ages and had a lot of stories to tell. In the midst of a lot of heartache and discomfort, we both have lots of Good News about what the Lord is doing in our lives. Lots of funny, totally unexpected answers to prayers. Stories of how faithful our God is. We both have old, seemingly forgotten hopes that are being realized. Situations that seemed to be all Bad News, turning out to be the preparation for something Wonderful. That’s my experience of God these days!
